After years of being unable to conceive a child, we started the journey of adopting early in 2006 and were officially logged into China's adoption waiting list on July 12th, 2006. On January 16th, 2007 we became the enamored parents of a biological son, Cash.
On July 28th, 2011 we received the ecstatic news that our referral match from CCAA arrived at our adoption agency in San Francisco.
This blog will document our story from referral to bringing our daughter home.
Hi! What a sweetheart, a BIG congratulation to your family Such a small world in some ways we live in Sonoma County too, just up the road in Santa Rosa. We have a small adoption community that gets together several times a year and we stay connected via a Yahoo group as well, please join. (Search for SoCoAdoptions on Yahoo groups) We came home with our daughter from China in 2005 and our son from Taiwan in 2010. Wishing you and your family all the best.
Thanks for all your comments- what a surprise! I thought it was my own little private Idaho in da makin (this blog thing is a novel concept to me; getting up to speed)- then I noticed Comments?! Thanks for the support. Healthy Happy and Whole is our mantra for our little Josie Guo Ling- so so far away.
